What North Carolina State Senator Todd Johnson (R-25) loves most about his job is "having the ability to meet so many people" around the Tar Heel State.

One thing Johnson thinks his constituents might be surprised to know is why legislators do the work they do: "You don't do it just for fame or glory... you do it because you really, really care about your communities... Being in Raleigh with 169 other legislators, you realize real quick [that] even though you don't agree on everything, the majority of people are there for the right reasons and are simply here because they love their community."

Johnson also shared his favorite spot to take visitors, Hilltop Restaurant.
